We should mail to
property owner and tenant. Ask John if a complaint was generated already. Mike S will let us know if he can
get us a list of chemicals on site.
Thanks,
Melissa Wissim, REVS
Program Coordinator
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Dept.
1868 E. The grow is not currently active, but when
we were out there a truck drove up and dropped off several totes full of a chemicals. The driver said that he did not live
on the property and was just dropping off the trailer. This property has no permitted structures and according to CDD
should be vacant. I have attached pictures of the chemicals I observed on the property and a data sheet for what was on
the trailer.
I showed the data sheet to John and he did some research and found that the product is commonly used to reduce pH in
soil for cannabis production. The property is isolated and there are a lot of safety concerns associated with it, in case you
do plan on sending an inspector.
Thank you,
Michael Suszycki,
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
(209) 468-3420
1
