To
qualify as a CESQG (or "SQUEEGEE"), your
business must generate per month:
Less than 220 pounds or approximately
27 gallons (liquid) of hazardous waste.
Less than 2.2 pounds or approximately
1 quart (liquid) of certain original
unused products (i.e., acutely hazardous
wastes).
Less than 110 pounds or approximately
13 gallons (liquid) of perchloroethylene.
dl
MATERIALS SAFETY
DATA SHEETS (MSDS)
ARE OFTEN YOUR BEST
SOURCE OF INFORMATION
REGARDING THE
PRODUCTS YOU USE.
MSDS SHEETS ARE
AVAILABLE FROM PRODUCT
SUPPLIERS.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR
MY BUSINESS?
What's in it for your business? Plenty!
A low-cost way to safely dispose of
hazardous materials.
Documentation that your business is
properly managing its hazardous
waste.
Free consulting from certified
hazardous waste specialists and
qualified personnel.
Another level of protection - under
"cradle to grave" laws, your business
is responsible for wastes it generates.
You may be held liable long after
you've paid someone else to haul
waste away. The County assumes
generator responsibility for waste
accepted at the Household Hazardous
Waste Facility. Once accepted, you
can be assured that the material will
be disposed of properly.
IT'S EASY TO SIGN UP!
Call (800) 207-8222 to see if your business
qualifies for the CESQG Program.
