Eight Mile road 1979 79-272 1,200 1 100 2.75' x 25' pit <br />NF- No septic permits found <br />Based on a review of the EHD permits, the adjoining southern property septic system consists of <br />a 1,200 gallon septic tank with a single 100 foot long leach line and 25 foot deep seepage pit. <br />There were no septic systems identified in connection with the adjoining northern, eastern, and <br />western properties. <br />1.3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity <br />No septic repair permits were found for the adjoining properties. <br />1.3.7 Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage <br />Existing Residential Use <br />According to Ms. Couragee, the existing 5 bedroom residence is occupied by five monks year <br />round. No additional residents are anticipated. After the 12 bedroom dormitory is constructed, <br />the existing 5 bedroom residence will be used primarily for storage and the existing kitchen and <br />restroom will be used for special events or as needed. The current 5 bedroom residence septic <br />tank usage is 350 gallons per day (gpd) (5 people x 70 gallons per person per day). <br />Existing Commercial Use <br />Approximately five people visit the assembly hall daily. Services are held thirteen times per year <br />aurinathe full moon. Up to 15 people per day visit the assembly hall seven fines per year during <br />the full moon. Six--of the -thirteen full moons are special evenEihe April (Asian New Year) full <br />moon is a three day event with up to 1,000 visitors over a three day period or 333 people per day. _ <br />Five full moons which occur in July (Lent), August (Teaching), October (End of Lent), November <br />(Katin) and December (New Year's Eve) will hav409 150 visitors peLevent According to Ms. <br />Couragee, visitors spend on average approximately 3 hours per visit. The highest flow special <br />event in April is 1,665 gpd (333 people x 5 gallons per person). ", <br />Proposed Residential Use <br />The proposed 12 bedroom dormitory will serve as the monk's primary residence. Each bedroom <br />will be occupied by one person per bedroom similar to the existing residential use. Some of the <br />proposed bathrooms will be shared between the occupants.
