One 55 gallon drum of paper oil filters in the <br /> dumpster area was not close securely with the metal ring and bolt. One 5 gallon container of metal fines next to the <br /> brake rotor machine was not closed. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 501 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br /> OBSERVATION: Failed to completely label hazardous waste tanks.The used oil tank had an accumulation start <br /> date of June 2021. The site ships used oil off site multiple times per month. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the hazardous waste tanks with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the accumulation <br /> start date.
