The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for QUICKI KLEEN CAR WASH as of February 04, 2022. <br /> Open violations from September 06, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation#106-Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated that employees who handle hazardous <br /> waste were properly trained. Owner, Dabb Gurmeet, indicated that he has not provided hazardous waste training to <br /> his employees. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#301 -Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> According to the sign on the side of the drum,the used absorbent is placed back inside the absorbent container for <br /> reuse.The lid to <br /> the container was observed open and not closed properly.The gasoline vapors are being allowed to evaporate. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion,or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> Immediately contain all gasoline contaminated absorbents in properly sealed containers to prevent vapors from <br /> escaping into the environment and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement <br /> and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br />
