The Special Purpose Plan <br /> Amendment is proposed to revise the language of the Oakwood Lake Special Purpose Plan (PP-98-04)to remove language <br /> pertaining to the C-R (Commercial Recreation Zone) and related uses, and add language pertaining to allow for residential <br /> development within a portion of the Special Purpose Plan area currently designated for commercial uses. The General Plan <br /> Map Amendment proposes to change the General Plan designation from Commercial - Recreation (C/R) to Low Density <br /> Residential (R/L), and the Zone Reclassification proposes to rezone the parcel from Commercial - Recreation (C-R)to Low <br /> Density Residential(R-L).The underlying project is a Major Subdivision is to subdivide the project parcel into 32 Low-Density <br /> Residential parcels with reduced setbacks.The subdivision would be served by the Oakwood Lake Water District with public <br /> water, sewer, and storm drainage. This parcel is not under a Williamson Act Contract. <br /> The Property is zoned C-R (Commercial Recreation) and the General Plan designation is C/R (Commercial Recreation). <br /> PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located on the north side of W.
