Correction Statement: Medication look-up will be used to determine hazardous waste determination,training manual has been updated. All waste medications will need to be identified as controlled or non-controlled. They will be stored separately in storage bin with content label indicating that its Hazardous Waste, contents reflecting controlled pharmaceuticals or non-controlled pharmaceuticals, accumulation date, and site address. All non-controlled pharmaceutical waste will be disposed of each month by reporting it to our Clean Earth HW disposal representative to arrange a date for disposal at San Joaquin County disposal site. All controlled pharmaceuticals will be stored separately and taken to a drop-off site. Reached out to Stericycle for Seal & Send Mail Back for medication program. Resolution: What we did to fix this violation with waste medications, we called our local Environmental Disposal site and asked if they disposed of unwanted/waste medications.
