G7
L
7
Identified Contamination Source Evaluation
The Eugene Schenone property,
located at 12441/12505 East
Copperopolis (approximately one-
quarter mile southeast of the Site)
was included on the Hazardous
Materials and Aboveground
Storage Tanks lists. (Current and
past off-site)
A hazards disclosure document
indicated that the adjacent property
across the street was a hazardous
materials handler and transporter.
(Current or past off-site)
A plugged, dry hole natural gas
well was identified approximately
600 feet west of the Site. (Past off-
site)
9.0 RECOMMENDATONS
Based on the nature of these listings
and the distance to the Site, this
facility is not anticipated to have
impacted the Site.
The adjacent property appears to be
a rural residence with open land; no
additional evidence of hazardous
materials handling was
encountered.
Hazardous materials may be
associated with the drilling of natural
gas wells. Regulatory oversight for
these activities is provided by the
California Geologic Energy
Management Division.
This report should be seen as a screening tool to identify areas where hazardous
substances may be present on the Site. As part of the land use application
process, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department may
recommend that certain actions be taken in response to conditions identified.
Additionally, any conditions out of compliance with local, State, or Federal
regulations should be brought into compliance; it is outside the scope of work of
the Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report to identify these conditions.
10.0 CONCLUSIONS
This SSCR was prepared for the subject Site, 11880 East Ada Avenue, Stockton,
California, to identify evidence of any on- or off-site, current or past, sources of
contamination. Several potential sources of contamination, most typical of
similar properties in the area, have been identified and discussed in Section 8.0.
The San Joaquin County Environmental Heath Department will review this report
and notify the property owner if that agency recommends any actions to be taken
prior to parcel division.
LOGE 2207 8
