Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Re: Saddle City Area
14958 Thornton Road
Dear Al :
My clients' property is across Thornton Road from the truck stop,
store and new restaurant at I-5 and Highway 12.
We received approval for, and constructed septic systems, for 3
buildings and businesses. Two of the buildings have tenants and
a prospective third tenant wants to serve food in the remaining
building.
This is creating a quandary for us. Conditions established for
Saddle City Subdivision do not allow a restaurant until after a
second well and public sewer system is installed. However, right
across the road there is a new restaurant without these things.
Also, Saddle City, as a subdivision, does not exist and will prob-
ably not exist for some time.
Since all development on the east side of Thornton Road is under
one ownership, I request that my clients be treated as if a sub-
division had never been applied for. I don't see why we cannot
add a grease trap and enlarge the existing septic and leach sys-
tems to serve a restaurant.
To recap, we wish to use the existing building as a restaurant
and be treated the same as the restaurant across Thornton Road, or
any place else in the County. I realize that when the property is
subdivided, the existing buildings will be subject to the conditions
imposed upon the subdivision at that time.
Sincerely, q11 a rj1
TERRY PIA APR 2 9 198 .
Secretary Treasurer
ENVIKUroLi,I AL KLASgLTH
%
CC: Mr. Jeff Norcup, Gibraltar ConfMWYylcfN's
