Underground Storage Tank
Secondary Containment Testing Report Form
9. COMMENTS
Mast=Master. Siph=Siphon. PS=Piping Sump. Western FG=Western Fiberglass.
BP=Bottom Penetrations.
Note: Tank #2 Regular 87 Siphon, Tank Secondary Containment Sensor L3 was in alarm when i
arrived on site. I found the Tank Secondary Containment Riser Cap loose. When i removed the
sensor for testing, the alarm cleared. I found an inch and a half of water in the Tank Secondary
Containment. I removed approximately 20 ounces of water from the Tank Secondary Containment
prior to testing. The water appeared dirty and sandy, and mirrored the back fill soil material around
the Tank Secondary Containment Riser. No smell of fuel present. I applied the Test Vacuum of
-10" Hg. for one hour, and no loss of Test Vacuum was detected throughout the test period.
Possible source of water in the Tank Secondary Containment was surface run off that entered the
Tank Secondary Containment through the loose cap on the Tank Secondary Containment Riser.
All tests marked "Fail'and any repairs made before or during the tightness test must be described in
the COMMENTS section.
Page 5 of 5
