Pereira Dear Ms. Wehrmeister: The South San Joaquin Irrigation District has reviewed the above application and requests that the following conditions of approval be adopted for this project: 1. The owner shall execute the necessary documents and agreements to provide for the abandonment of service and the removal of irrigation structures for those parcels which will not continue to receive irrigation water. If irrigation is to continue to the newly created parcel, owner will need to place a note on the map and record a parcel map restriction indicating that future easements will be conveyed upon transfer of parcel to new owners. 2. The owner shall grant easements of sufficient width for all District facilities which may exist on subject property to serve as a replacement for any prescriptive and/or unrecorded easements that are present. All existing recorded or newly dedicated District easements shall be shown on the survey map prior to its recording. 3. If the homesite area is lower than adjacent irrigated property, a permanent berm or ditch will need to be constructed around the homesite parcel to prevent accidental flooding from irrigation water. Property owner shall either verify field elevations or submit a written statement to District indicating that property in question is not subject to flooding from adjacent irrigated property.
