I <br /> I -4466g <br /> 3X30/® <br /> MACHINERY <br /> Pape Machinery's service technicians conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment for the San <br /> Joaquin County Solid Waste Division. The Pape service technicians generate non-RCRA hazardous wastes <br /> (used oil and used oil filters)when conducting the service. This letter describes how the waste is <br /> managed from point of generation to the TSDF. <br /> Transfer from the customer's location to the point of consolidation: <br /> • The wastes generated and collected by Pape are transported from the customer's location to the <br /> point of consolidation,the Pape Machinery facility,located at 8621 S El Dorado Street, French <br /> Camp CA 95231. This facility operates under EPA Generator ID CAL000291922. <br /> • The hazardous wastes are managed in accordance with all federal and CA laws concerning <br /> storage and handling during generation,transport,storage,and recycling/disposal. <br /> • Each waste type is stored in a closed container that is labeled as hazardous waste,and <br /> transported in a Pape vehicle to the consolidation point. <br /> Transfer from the Pape facility to the TSDF:. <br /> • Wastes are routinely picked up from Pape Machinery within the permitted accumulation limits. <br /> • Waste transport is performed by World Oil(Asbury Environmental Services), World Oil operates <br /> under transporter EPA ID CAD028277036. <br /> • Used oil,used ethylene glycol,and drained oil&gas filters are picked up on a World Oil <br /> consolidated manifest and shipped to a recycling facility. <br /> • Waste fuel and contaminated DEF(rarely generated)are shipped under a Uniform <br /> Hazardous Waste Manifest to the appropriate TSDF. <br /> • Oily solids are likewise manifested and shipped to Yuma Environmental Services(YES), <br /> 2730 E.13 St in Yuma,AZ 85365. Yuma Yes operates under TSDF EPA ID#AZR000515924. <br /> • Battery transport is performed as an exchange program with the battery vendor. Lead- <br /> acid battery cores are recycled by the vendor;the vendor provides receipts. <br /> • Pape sends a copy of the initial generator manifest to the California Department of Toxic <br /> Substances Control(DTSC)within 30 days of waste pickup and retains a copy of the manifest <br /> signed by the TSDF. <br /> • Pape Machinery retains at least three years of records of hazardous waste transport and disposal <br /> (service orders,bills of lading,receipts,and/or Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests). The <br /> records are available at the facility for inspection by the COPA. <br /> Pape will initiate leaving a receipt(example attached)of the type and quantity of wastes that are <br /> removed from the customer by Pape service technicians.
