Attachment
North County Landfill 240 Gallon Used Oil Shop Tank Site Security and Design of Tank
The Tank is a Containment Solutions UL-Listed 240 Gallon double wall 10 gauge steel tank. The tank is
rectangular in construction (see manufactures drawings). The Containment Solutions design provides
that the inner tank is completely enveloped by the outer tank. The exterior/secondary tank has an
epoxy coated finish. The inner/primary tank does not require corrosion protection. The tank is located
at North County Landfill, Lodi, CA. The tank is located indoors in the repair shop area. The entire
facility is secured by 6' chain link perimeter fencing and is monitored by visual/audible surveillance with
full security alarm systems. The tank uses a Scully level gauge to visually monitor the primary tank
levels. The tank system uses a Petrometor PET-25 monitoring system to provide visual and audible
positive pump shut off over fill controls. A Kruger leak guard is used to monitor interstitial space for
primary tank failure. The tank is in such a position that it provides acceptable clearance for visual
inspections.
