Material Specifications <br />1) HOOT Aerobic Treatment Unit: <br />Use HOOT Model H600AND, capable of handling sewage flows of 600 gallons a day. <br />2) Effluent Pump: <br />Franklin E -Series, Environmental Series, 1 I Ov, 20 GPM mid -suction effluent pump. <br />3) Distribution System: <br />All piping and fitting to be schedule 40 PVC, unless otherwise specified. All bends in pump line <br />to be 45 degree elbows where possible. <br />4) Vortex Filter: <br />Use a Netafin., 25AP250001 01 Manufactured by ARKAL (Mesh 120, Micron 130) vortex filter. <br />5) Flush Valve Assembly: <br />Use Geoflow Inc., valves, air relief vents and poly box <br />6) Compression Adaptors and Tees: <br />A tee and compression adaptor are required at each end of the drip line. Use 1 '/4" X 1 '/4" X ''/i" <br />(SxSxS) tees. <br />7) Dripline: <br />Use 1000 linear feet of Geoflow Inc., Wasteflow Pressure Compensating Dripline, (1/2" diameter <br />line with emitters on 24" centers), part WFPC 16-2-24. <br />8) Vacuum Breaker: <br />Install air/vacuum relief valves at the highest point on the inlet manifold and the flush manifold. <br />Use Geoflow Inc., ARV 05 air/vacuum relief valves with tees and 6" diameter Carson box. <br />9) Spring Check Valve: <br />Install on supply line, just before drip field supply manifold, to prevent drainage of supply line to <br />drip field. <br />10) Check Valve: <br />Install on return line, just after manifold, to prevent drainage of return line to drip field. <br />Contact Numbers: <br />HOOT Aerobic Treatment Unit Rick McCauley (916) 747-4410 <br />GeoFlow Inc.
