R&R Consulting recommends a drip dispersal system with pre-treatment for this
site/residence. The pretreatment will consist of a NSF approved HOOT
H600AND aerobic treatment unit. The drip dispersal field will consist of a single
zone of 1000 LF of Geoflow pressure compensating drip lines. These drip lines
will be installed 6" deep into the existing soil and 2'-0" apart. R&R Consulting
recommends that service & maintenance be continued on an ongoing basis after
the two initial years of service by Superior On -Site Solutions.
DESIGN ANALYSIS
Design basis: 4-bdrm x 150 gpd/bdm = 600 gpd
Soil application rate: 0.3 gpd/ft2
Required drip dispersal area: 600 gpd / 0.3 gpd/ft2 = 2,000 ft2
Recommended dispersal area: 2000 ft2
Drip line spacing: 2'-0"
Drip emitter spacing: 2'-0"
Required length of drip line: 2,000 ft2 / 2'-0" line spacing = 1000 L.F.
Recommended drip line: 1000 L.F.
Actual drip line length: 1000 L.F.
Actual drip dispersal area: 1000 L.F. x 2'-0" line spacing = 2,000 ft2
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Encl:
Design by James Barnard
California Professional Registered Geologist #7478
3609 Bradshaw Rd #311.
