Introduction This document details a reduced validation of analytical results for soil samples collected in support of the Excavation Sampling at the July 22, 2020 Port of Stockton Diesel Spill site in Stockton, California during July 2020. Samples were submitted to Pace National Center for Testing and Innovation, located in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. A sample collection and analysis summary is presented in Table 1. A summary of the analytical methodology is presented in Table 2. The validated analytical results are summarized in Table 3. Standard GHD report deliverables were submitted by the laboratory. The final results and supporting quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) data were assessed. Evaluation of the data was based on information obtained from the chain of custody form, finished report forms, method blank data, recovery data from surrogate spikes and laboratory control samples. The QA/QC criteria by which these data have been assessed are outlined in the analytical methods referenced in Table 2 and applicable guidance from the documents entitled: i) "USEPA Contract Laboratory Program National Functional Guidelines for Organic Data Review", United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) 540 R 2016 002, September 2016 "USEPA Contract Laboratory Program National Functional Guidelines for Inorganic Data Review", USEPA 540 R 2016 001, September 2016 These items will subsequently be referred to as the "Guidelines" in this Memorandum.
