Well Destruction Permit Addendum <br />During construction work a previously unknown borehole in the ground cased with 18 -inch diameter <br />steel and filled in with soil to approximately 4 feet below the ground surface as shown in the <br />photograph below was encountered. <br />7.., _'. ',T... .3; - _ �l.`'a-, "` _� t .':''f"✓,S:'.M-,ate" <br />An �R <br />.At <br />The San Joaquin County well installation or destruction permit records and California department of <br />water resources well completion reports were checked and no record of a well or borehole at this <br />location was available. The borehole/well is proposed to be to destroyed by drilling down the interior of <br />the steel casing to remove the soil in the interior to the total depth of the casing observed during <br />drilling. If it is an open borehole encountering native soil will be used to define the bottom of the casing. <br />Alternatively a bottom cap on the well may be encountered if it is not open. Once the bottom is reached <br />explosives will be used to perforate the casing and the well/borehole will be grouted. <br />
