SU-88-1 OF SAM LODUCA (DISTRICT 1 ) <br /> IT IS RECOMMENDED: <br /> That the Board of Supervisors: <br /> Deny the appeal and uphold the Planning Commission action <br /> to deny SU-88-1 based on the fact that Finding Nos. <br /> 1 , 2, 3 , 4 and 7 cannot be made. <br /> REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: <br /> On October 15, 1987 the Planning Commission held a public <br /> hearing on Major Subdivision Application No. SU-88-1. After <br /> receiving all testimony the Commission, by a vote of 6 to 1, <br /> denied the application. <br /> Monte Seibel, the owner' s agent, as well as four area resi- <br /> dents, spoke in favor of the application. Steve Herum, <br /> attorney representing Indelicato Wineries, and Anthony <br /> Indelicato, President of Indelicato Wineries, spoke in opposi- <br /> tion to the project. One area resident also was opposed. <br /> On October 23 , 1987, Sam Loduca filed an appeal of the <br /> Planning Commission action. <br /> 1. Basis of Appeal: <br /> The Planning Commission denied the application to realign <br /> 10 parcels, consisting of 44. 57 acres, into parcels <br /> (Record Junction Tract) by failing to make the following <br /> findings: <br /> 1 ) The proposed map is consistent with applicable general <br /> and specific plans. <br /> 2 ) The design or improvement of the proposed subdivision <br /> is consistent with applicable general and specific <br /> plans. <br /> 1 BOS LETTER PAGE 1 <br />
