To determine a more accurate local value, Live Oak has collected rainwater during
several recent storm events in Lodi. Each sample was collected in a clean, dry,
stainless steel bowl, then decanted into a plastic container and placed on ice for
transport. The samples were analyzed for nitrate by FGL Environmental of Stockton.
The results of the rainwater sampling are as follows:
Table 3. Rainwater Nitrate Concentration
Date Nitrate (mg/L-N)
5/17/2019 0.4
5/19/2019 0.2
3/16/20 0.2
5/18/20 0.4
1/27/21, 10:00 0 (Non-detect)
1/27/21, 19:30 0 (Non-detect)
1/29/21 0.2
2/11/21 0 (Non-detect)
2/12/21 0.1
10/25/21 0 (Non-detect)
12/14/21 0 (Non-detect)
Average 0.136
Live Oak then averaged the concentrations of the 11 samples, for a value of 0.136
mg/L-N to represent the nitrate concentration of rain.
Because the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department has requested that
local and recent data be utilized wherever possible, the concentration of the Lodi
rainwater been selected for use in the nitrate loading calculation.
Quantity and Quality of Domestic Wastewater
Mr. Sandoval indicated that the existing homes on the Site have three and four
bedrooms, and the proposed home will have three bedrooms (personal communication,
March 14, 2022).
LOGE 2219 Page 10
