Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> incorporating proposed staff and indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. <br /> This must be performed prior to recordation of the deed or record of survey (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required, and a <br /> review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health <br /> Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of deed or record of survey. Samples are to be taken <br /> and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1115.7). <br />
