Com ce and Enforcement A" <br /> His <br /> May 1999 Notice and Order to Abate. <br /> June—August 1999 Begin Process of Text Amendment <br /> August 1999 Requested by Farm Bureau to work cooperatively on Complete <br /> Winery Ordinance. <br /> August 11, 1999 Site Visit by Community Development, Public Works Department of <br /> Health Services and Fire Department <br /> August 27, 1999 Letter from Jerry Herzick conditions for temporary use of site for <br /> Wedding and Banquet facility. <br /> September 27, 1999 Letter on behalf of Harmony Wynelands indicating all conditions <br /> have been satisfied. <br /> Narrative <br /> In may of 1999, Harmony Wynelands received a Notice and Order to Abate use of <br /> property for weddings and banquets. Harmony Wynelands immediately began the <br /> process of processing an application for a text amendment allowing such uses in the <br /> agriculture zone. Upon a request by the Farm Bureau, Harmony Wynelands withdrew its <br /> text amendment to assist in developing a Winery Ordinance. <br /> Subsequently, Harmony Wynelands contacted Community Development requesting <br /> permission to continue temporary use of the facility until completion of text amendment <br /> and approval of a site approval. <br /> Community Development granted a temporary use under certain conditions. Conditions <br /> included: <br /> • Fire Access <br /> • Fire Extinguishers <br /> • Modified Parking System <br /> • Delineated Accessible Space <br /> • Portable Restrooms <br /> • Relocation of Propane Tanks <br /> • Removal of Extension Cords <br /> • Assess for Random Inspection <br /> After further site visits by the Health Department, Fire Department and permission from <br /> adjacent land owners granting access for parking the temporary use was granted. <br /> Harmony Wynelands to date has been in full compliance with all conditions of approval <br /> pending completion of the Winery Ordinance and necessary permit applications. <br /> 334058-3 <br />
