(AGI) has prepared this Well Destruction
Work Plan (Work Plan) for the destruction of a total of four (4) groundwater monitoring
wells at 500, 980, and 1300 East Louise Avenue, Lathrop, California (site). The
groundwater monitoring wells are single-completed to total depths of 20 feet below
surface grade with 2-inch diameter well casings in 8-inch diameter boreholes. The site
and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. Structures, soil borings and well
locations are illustrated in Figure 2. Historical groundwater elevations and well screen
intervals are summarized in Table 1.

INTRODUCTION

This Work Plan was prepared to procure a well destruction permit and destroy remaining
groundwater monitoring wells W-2, W-3, W-5, and W-6 that were used to evaluate
groundwater quality for the Waste Discharge Requirement (WDR) permit. The WDR
permit is planned to be terminated and the wells need to be destroyed prior to recission
of the permit requirements. Approval to destroy the remaining wells was provided in
Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) email dated 15 March
2021 (Appendix A).

Wells W-2, W-3, W-5, and W-6 will be destroyed by over-drilling in accordance with San
Joaquin County Well Standards.
