SAN JOAQUIN
Vii_ COUNTY
Greotness grows here.
April 25, 2022
Maria Navarro & Miguel Navarro
336 E. According to the SSNL, the estimated nitrate loading from existing and proposed Onsite Wastewater
Treatment System (OWTS) usage is 6.3 mg/L as nitrate -nitrogen and the maximum contaminant
level of 16.3 mg/L-N. EHD will require an engineered OWTS to mitigate the excessive nitrogen.
2. Percolation test conducted on October 1, 2021, yield a percolation rate of 1.77 min/inch. At this rate,
minimum 20 feet of soil separation is required between bottom of dispersal field and the
groundwater. The SSNL reports a historic groundwater level of 19 feet below surface grade. (San
Joaquin County OWTS Standard Table 1.10.2).
3. The OWTS and its 100% replacement areas shall meet all required minimum setbacks stated in San
Joaquin County (OWTS) Standard and Well Standard.
If you have any questions please contact Aldara Salinas, Environmental Health Specialist, EHS, at
asalinas@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3019.
At'Steven Shih, REHS P.
Program Coordinator i
CC: Live Oak Geo Environmental, Inc.- 407 W.
