Environmental Health Department <br />Hazardous Materials Program Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />May 02, 2022 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 1257 W YOSEMITE AVE, MANTECA <br /> Facility Name: <br /> AHMEDS SONS INC <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 5 HSC 25505(a)(1) Failed to electronically submit hazardous materials inventory for all reportable materials on site. <br />OBSERVATION: The Hazardous Materials Inventory forms for all chemicals were not complete. The chemicals <br />contain obsolete hazard categories . <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE :The Hazardous materials inventory information must be current and submitted as part <br />of the business plan. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at <br />http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br />This is a minor violation. <br /> 9 HSC 25508.2 Failed to annually review and certify that the HMBP is complete and accurate by the due date. <br />OBSERVATION: The business plan information has not been reviewed and resubmitted in the California <br />Environmental Reporting System (CERS) annually by the due date, January 15. <br />- The 2022 business plan submittal was submitted late on 2/11/2022 and was incomplete, the hazardous materials <br />inventory and site map were not submitted. <br />- The 2021 business plan submittal was submitted late on 2/10/2021 and the chemical inventory contained obsolete <br />hazard categories. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The hazardous materials inventory shall be submitted by January 15 of each calendar <br />year and may be submitted beginning November 1 of the previous year. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure that the business plan submittals are made annually by January 15 by logging into <br />the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for <br />approval. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Conducted a Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) inspection. There were two violations during the <br />inspection. Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a <br />statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any <br />supporting paperwork, by 06/01/2022. <br />To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br />of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br />($152).
