The containers <br /> were: <br /> -Three black 55 gallon drums of oil contaminated filters were missing an accumulation start date. <br /> -A blue 55 gallon drum of used oil was missing the generator name and address. <br /> -Black 55 gallon drum of used oil labeled 'Transfer Tank Only' had no label. <br /> -Four closed 55 gallon drums in yellow secondary containers had no visible labeling on the container itself. <br /> -One 55 gallon drum of used absorbent in a yellow secondary container had no visible labeling on the container <br /> itself. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 708 HSC 25201.16(f) Failed to properly store and label containers of hazardous waste aerosol cans. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility is managing universal waste(UW)aerosol can storage containers in a way that is out <br /> of compliance with this section. One 55 gallon drum of Universal Waste Aerosol cans in a yellow secondary <br /> container had no visible labeling on the container itself. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: California Health &Safety Code section 25201.16 <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide accurate and complete labeling on the Universal Waste aerosol can container and <br /> not the secondary container.All universal waste labeling must include the words'Universal Waste'as well as what <br /> the waste generated is. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 715 CCR 66273.39 Universal Waste Handler failed to keep three years records of each shipment of universal waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Only one record dated 5/13/2019 for disposal of aerosol cans was observed on site. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.39.Tracking Universal Waste <br /> Shipments <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately locate a copy of all UW disposal records for the last three years and <br /> maintain them on site.
