Oak St. <br />Lodi, CA. 95240 <br />RE: Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br />6550 E State Route 12, Lodi CA <br />APN: 049-120-04, SR0085176 <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Jasjit Kang, REHS, Director <br />Muniappa Naidu, REHS, Assistant Director <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, REHS <br />Steven Shih, REHS <br />Michelle Henry, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br />Loading (SSNL) Study, dated April 18, 2022 and has the following comments for your consideration. <br />The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) usage <br />and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater from the proposed agricultural processing facility <br />on a 14.70 -acre parcel. <br />Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings: <br />Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for <br />standard OWTS usage for the proposed development pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance <br />Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d). <br />2. Percolation test conducted on April 5, 2022 yielded a percolation rate of 2.45 minutes/inch. At this <br />rate, an twenty -foot soil separation shall be required between bottom of dispersal field and <br />groundwater pursuant to San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment Standard table 1.10.2. <br />Per SSNL Study, groundwater on site is reported between 83 to 89 feet below surface grade. <br />3.
