Advanced GeoEnvironmental is proposing 15 trenches approximately 45 feet apart to cover the area and confirm wastes have been removed from Waste Unit 1 . The North-South trenches will be approximately 20-25 feet long, the East-West trenches will be approximately 25-30 feet long, and all trenches will be excavated to approximately 6-7 feet below pre-excavation surface grade (approximately 3-5 feet below excavation surface grade).
