23 August 2021
Project No. 14-3002
GROUNDWATER SAMPLE COLLECTION

Groundwater samples will be collected from approximately 22 of the soil borings. All
groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPH. Selected groundwater samples will be
analyzed for dissolved lead by EPA Method 200.7 and dioxin and furan by EPA Method
E1613. The final work plan will present figures identifying boring locations for lead and
dioxin and furan analysis. Proposed boring locations are depicted on Figure 2.

CONCRETE SAMPLE COLLECTION

Two concrete samples will be collected from the concrete located in the former
transformer area in the southwestern corner of the facility. Samples will be collected
utilizing a roto-hammer to remove pieces of concrete. The samples will be pulverized at
the laboratory to prepare them for analysis. Concrete samples will be analyzed for total
PCBs (dry weight) by EPA Method 8082A. Proposed concrete sample locations are
illustrated in Figure 2.

REPORT PREPARATION

Upon completion of the proposed field work, a site assessment/trenching report will be
prepared, summarizing this scope of work. Conclusions, applicable recommendations,
maps, cross-sections, and an updated conceptual site model will be included in the report,
if appropriate. The report will be in a format acceptable to CVRWQCB and will be
reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geologist.

If you have any questions or require further information, please contact our office at
(209) 467-1006.

Sincerely,

AdvancedGeo, Inc

________________________________
Brian W. Millman
Senior Project Geologist
California Professional Geologist No. 8574
