All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #4 Employee Eating, Tasting, Drinking or Tobacco Use <br />OBSERVATIONS: Employee observed drinking out of a cup with no lid in the prep area. All containers used for drinking <br />require a lid to prvent spillage. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: No employees shall eat, drink, or smoke in any work area. (113977) <br /> #7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures <br />OBSERVATIONS: The true 2 door prep ref is not cold enough at 47 F. decrease and maintain temperature at or below 41 F <br />today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Potentially hazardous foods shall be held at or below 41/ 45°F or at or above 135°F. (113996, 113998, <br />114037, 114343(a)) <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br />OBSERVATIONS: A few of the storage containers have scoops without handles. Replace all scoops to ensure that they all <br />have proper handles. The utensil storage bucket has some standing water. Either provide running water or remove the <br />water from the bucket. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food shall be separated and protected from contamination. (113984 (a, b, c, d, f), 113986, 114060, <br />114067(a, d, e, j), 114069(a, b), 114077, 114089.1 (c), 114143 (c)) <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: The container of rice is being stored on the floor. Store the container o rice and all other foods 6 inches <br />above the floor. An open package of rice paper is being stored on the hand wash sink. Remove this item and do not use the <br />hand wash sink to store any food items. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving.
