All trees and plants should <br /> be placed and maintained in such a manner as they cannot <br /> be used to provide concealment for criminal activity. Trees <br /> should be trimmed from the ground to a height of six feet <br /> and placed so they do not obscure observation by employees <br /> or security personnel. <br /> Earth berms should not exceed one and one-half feet in <br /> height so the do not obscure observation of the property <br /> by security personnel or patrol deputies. <br /> CCTV should be considered for the loading dock area. <br /> Lighting requirements should include: <br /> One quarter (25/100) footcandles of illumination per <br /> square foot of surface in the parking area. Readings <br /> should be taken on the ground surface. <br /> Perimeter lighting should create an even band of light <br /> / 25' to 50' wide along the entire perimeter of the project. <br /> V Auxiliary lighting over each point of entry. <br /> ✓/ Lighting fixtures to be of vandal resistant construction. <br /> Lights should be controlled by timers.
