Attachment "A" <br /> A-06- <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of August, 2006, by and <br /> between the COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN, a political subdivision of the State of <br /> California, hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY", and Amy Skewes-Cox, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "CONSULTANT'; <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, COUNTY has a need for environmental review processing services <br /> for the Mountain House new community project, master plan implementation development <br /> application review services; and <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to retain the professional <br /> services of a firm having knowledge and skills necessary for the provision of <br /> environmental review services for the Neighborhoods "I" and "J" project of Mountain <br /> House Specific Plan II; and <br /> WHEREAS, it appears to COUNTY that CONSULTANT has professional <br /> knowledge and skills necessary to perform the services specified herein; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> I. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> COUNTY agrees to retain CONSULTANT and CONSULTANT agrees to <br /> satisfactorily perform the services set forth in this Agreement. <br /> A. Mountain House environmental review services to be performed by the <br /> Consultant include: <br /> • Preparation of an Initial Study as delineated in Exhibit "A" entitled "Detailed <br /> Scope of Work-MOUNTAIN HOUSE NEIGHBORHOODS I and J INITIAL <br /> STUDY/MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION" dated June 26, 2006. <br /> The scope of work, as outlined in Exhibit "A". may be narrowed by <br /> reviewing existing documents or communications with responsible <br /> agencies applicable to the topic. <br /> B. In addition to the services set forth in this Agreement COUNTY and <br /> CONSULTANT agree that CONSULTANT and the County Director of <br /> Community Development may agree in writing during the term of this <br /> Agreement that CONSULTANT shall perform any extra services found by the <br /> County Director of Community Development to be necessary for the work. <br /> Extra services, when authorized by the County Director of Community <br /> Development, shall be done on a time and materials basis not to exceed the <br /> maximum dollar set by the County Director of Community Development, which <br /> 1 <br />
