All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is above 10 ppm. Adjust to 3 ppm to 10 ppm. Close spa until the corrections are made and <br />verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Ph is below 7. Adjust ph to 7.2 to 7.8. Close spa until corrections are made and verified by this <br />department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: Tile around the deck is broken thereby creating a hazard. Repair within 2 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br />top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br />diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 3114B) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #21 Water Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: Water level is low. Add water to the middle of water level tile. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The pool operator shall ensure that the pool water is maintained at a level that will allow continuous removal of <br />surface debris through the pool skimming system. (CCR 65533) <br /> #29 Recirculation System Operation <br />OBSERVATIONS: There is a water leak from the filter. Repair by today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br />needed to maintain clear pool water.
