SA-99-87 Mr. Jeff Fisher San Joaquin County Development Services Division 1810 East Hazelton Avenue Stockton, CA 95205 Dear Mr. Fisher: Thank you for the opportunity to review the Site Approval application to remodel a portion of the existing building for taco take-out. The project site is located on the south side of State Route 26, 1000 feet east of Mill Street, Linden. Transportation Planning has circulated the above referenced project through our normal interdepartmental review process. Caltrans comments are as follows: • No diagonal parking on State Route 26. • The existing driveway needs to be brought up to Caltrans standards for a commercial driveway. • The proposed sidewalk/handicap ramp must be built to meet ADA requirements and curbline needs to be established prior to the construction of the sidewalk. • The 16' shown on the Site Plan is not adequate for cars backing out of the mini-market back parking lot. • An Encroachment Permit will be required for this project and other work done within the State right of way. Please direct the applicant to include the affected portion of the State right of way in their environmental studies. This avoids the delay of a separate environmental review for the encroachment permit. You and the applicant should review the need for cultural resource, biological resource and hazardous waste studies in our right of way.
