Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study incorporating the <br /> maximum number of employees and customers, indicating that the area is suitable for septic <br /> tank and winery waste usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of a building <br /> permit(s) (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of <br /> $186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and <br /> analyzed by a State-approved laboratory(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.7). <br /> C. Obtain discharge requirements from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br /> Central Valley Region,prior to development(Water Code, Article 5, Section 13280). <br /> NOTE: Should applicant desire to take winery waste to an approved wastewater treatment plant, <br /> than applicant shall provide the Environmental Health Department with a"Will-Serve" <br /> letter from the provider. <br /> Page 1 of 2 TE <br />
