A site plan was
provided to our office by Quartaroli and Associates,Manteca, which indicates the site and locations
of the proposed parcels.
The soil suitability study (SSS)was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use
with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section
9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included
conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin
County,Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD).
In addition to conducting the percolation tests,a review of published soil information, geologic
maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a
septic system.
The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible,
the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003.
LODI IN SACRAMENTO ■ MODESTO
ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION 902 Industrial Way,Lodi,California 95240 IN 209.367.3701 IN 209.369.4228 IN www.noanderson.com
