I have noticed on the plans there are some
items I would like to change to benefit the install and engineers are fine with the changes providing San
Joaquin County is ok with them.
The first item is the Vapor piping in the LIDC's, it is calling out for 1-1/2"galvanized pipe riser. I would
like to install the industry standard which is a flexible connector manufactured by Hose Master and we
are using for all of the product piping as well.
The plan page that references the items I am requesting change are on plan page FD-2, and FD-3 both
Detail A item#630
The other item is the orientation of product piping exiting tank sumps. On the plans it shows product
piping exiting vertically on top of one another and I would prefer to exit these lines next to each other
horizontally. The biggest reason is to assure we get all proper slope needed for these pipe runs.
The pipe arrangement is shown on plan page FT-2 Details A,B,C,D.
If your agency approves of these changes I would like to request that you email your response stating
San Joaquin County is ok with changes and that we will note on asbuilds at completion of project.
Thank you
Les Henderson
B&T Service Station Contractors
(805)929-8944 office
(805)431-8839 cell
2
