30 June 2022 AdvancedGeo
Project No. 22-6900 An Employee-Owned Company
Page 6 of 15
EnviroStor Database and the Geotracker Web site did not reveal any Leaking
Underground Storage Tank (LUST) sites or other environmental investigations within
0.5 miles of the site.
4.3. ON-SITE EXISTING WELL DESCRIPTION
There is one existing domestic water supply well on the property. The well was installed
under San Joaquin County permit in December 2008 (Permit No. SR0056070). The well
is composed of 6-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) casing installed in an 8-inch
diameter bore hole to a total depth of 220 feet bsg. The well grout seal is installed to 100
feet bsg. The onsite well provides potable water to the existing residence and subject
property. A copy of the well permit is included in Appendix B.
4.4. CONSTITUENTS BEING TESTED FOR IN THE WATER SAMPLE
Nitrate (NO3) constituents and 1 ,2-dibromo-3-chloropropane (DBCP) were tested in the
existing groundwater supply well at the subject property.
4.5. GROUNDWATER SAMPLE COLLECTION
On 20 June 2022, a sample of the drinking water, provided by the current groundwater
supply well at 650 South Reid Avenue, Linden, California, was collected in an
unpreserved 0.5-liter plastic container and two volatile organic analysis (VOAs) vials. The
groundwater sample containers were properly labeled, placed in a chilled container, and
transported under chain-of-custody protocols to McCampbell Analytical, Inc. (MAI), a
California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP)-certified laboratory.
The sample was analyzed for Nitrate as Nitrogen (N), Nitrate as NO3-, and DBCP.
4.6. GROUNDWATER ANALYTICAL REPORT
Nitrate as N was detected at 2.6 milligrams per liter (mg/1) and Nitrate as NO3- was
detected at 12 mg/I in the water sample; DBCP was not detected above the laboratory
reporting limit. The MAI laboratory report (Work Order: 2206D51) with quality
assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports and chain-of-custody form are provided in
Appendix C.
5.0. SOIL PROFILE
An OWTS Permit was issued for the property by the EHD on 03 June 2022 to perform a
percolation test (Appendix D). On 20 June 2022, a 4-inch diameter hand auger was
utilized to advance a percolation test hole to 42 inches bsg, in the proposed septic system
disposal field area.
