COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN
Parks and Recreation
Za
11793 N. Micke Grove Rd.
Micke Grove Park
C4c'rFodN' -
Lodi. CA 95240
PH: 209/953-8800/Fax 209/331-2012 '`
U 9x)(.11
R
ENVIR
October 18, 2005
MEMORANDUM
TO: Rodney Estrada, Lead Senior R.E.H.S.- Environmental Health Department
FROM: Jeff Smith, Park Planning and Development Coordinator
SUBJECT: MICKE GROVE PARK DELTA AREA RV CAMPSITES - PROJECT REVIEW
Rodney,
Please review the attached revised site plan and this memorandum with your conditions
addressed:
A. The proposed septic system for the dump station will be the existing system used by the
Delta Picnic Shelter restroom facility. Our assumption is that because the campsites will
only be used during the "off' season when the picnic shelter is not in use, the existing
restroom septic system is adequate to handle the camping load. See site plan for
proposed effluent load, existing septic capacities and 100% sewage disposal
replacement area.
B. David Beadles, Park Administrator has contacted Adrienne Ellsaesser Lead Senior,
R.E.H.S. about connection to the domestic water system. It will be allowed, providing a
revision is made to our existing small water system permit for Micke Grove park. The
permit revision is in process.
C. I contacted Doug Hensel at the State Department of Housing and Community
Development. His comment was that because the facility is County owned and operated
the Sate will defer permitting to the County of San Joaquin Department of Community
Development. California Health and Safety Code, Section 18303
If you have questions or need further information, please call me at (209) 331-2020
Thanks
Enclosure
