In addition, a soils
report was conducted by Kleinfelder, Inc. and they estimated the daily wastewater usage to be
2,500 gal/day. Using the more conservative flow rate, the design was based on using the 2,500
gal/day waste usage. The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department "Onsite
Wastewater Disposal Standards" was used to determine the septic tank size to be 3,000 gallons
(calculations are attached).
Wood bollards were added to the site between the leach field and the circular parking lot to
prevent vehicles from driving over the leach field. The bollards used will be twelve (12) inches
by twelve (12) inches spaced six (6) feet apart and are shown on the attached plan.
An area equal to one hundred (100) percent of the designed leach field area has been shown
on the plans for potential leach field replacement.
Attachments:
Alexander Scheflo and Associates wastewater calculations
Kleinfelder wastewater calculations
Septic tank design calculations
Plan & Details of septic tank & leach field
