Location of HMMP for Employee Use — Discussed location and whereto <br /> find the evacuation plan. It is each employee responsibility to read the HMMP <br /> plan. Located in office on back wall near bulletin board. <br /> 2. Evacuation Plan— see handout. Discussed location to meet in case of fire <br /> and who will lead evacuation. <br /> 3. MSDS folder on back counter in office. <br /> 4. Contacts for local emergency response personnel. (See Attached) <br /> S. Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release any <br /> potential harm to persons, property, or the environment. <br /> 6. Fire in shop. The procedures. Discussed with employees. <br /> 7. Proper handling of oily rags. Maintain in metal container in shop. <br /> Dispose in plastic bags and give to uniform company for permanent disposal. <br /> 8. Wearing safety eyeglasses. Each mechanic station will have one and <br /> each mechanic when handling chemicals such as coolant, engine oil, power <br /> steering fluid, transmission fluid shall wear them to prevent issues. <br /> 9. Eyewash station: Know where they are and what to do. Portable <br /> eyewash kits. <br /> 10. First aid kit: Where are they and what do they have in them. When to <br /> use them. <br /> 11. Fire extinguisher: Know where they are and how to use them. Also, <br /> define what fire to fight and what fire to quickly evacuate. <br /> 12. Chemical spills. Identify types of hazards. Identify what to do about <br /> spills and where to dispose of material. <br />
