Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: <br /> 9:54 am <br /> 9:37 am <br />Time Out: <br />Program Element: 3611 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA - PRIMARY <br />Telephone: Owner/Operator: PACIFICA STOCKTON SUITES LLC <br />Inspection Type: INSPECTION/REINSPECTION (Chargeable) <br />Address: 3240 W MARCH LN, STOCKTON 95219 <br />Date: 08/04/2022Name of Facility: RESIDENCE INN BY MARRIOT <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: Expansion joints and other tripping hazards on the deck. Repair within two weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br />top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br />diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 3114B) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: One pool light is not functioning. Repair/replace within two weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: The deep end skimmer is lacking the large o-ring and a weir. The shallow end skimmer is lacking both <br />o-rings. Install all parts to the skimmers. Correct within two weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
