Santa Fe <br /> Road,Riverbank CA <br /> Dear Ms.Persant: <br /> To determine if this site qualifies for remediation under the California Integrated Waste Management <br /> Board's(CIWMB)Solid Waste Cleanup Project,the CIWMB will need permission to'access the above <br /> referenced property for assessment.The CIWMB anticipates one to two days of site work, which will <br /> include excavating and environmental sampling to quantify and characterize the illegally disposed waste. <br /> The site assessment and hopefully future removal is pursuant to California Public Resources Code sections <br /> 48020-48028,Solid Waste Disposal and Codisposal Site Cleanup Program. <br /> Any consultants and contractors that may use the Bill Lane property to stage equipment and perform the <br /> site assessment are required by the CIWMB to maintain liability insurance with a combined single limit <br /> coverage of 1,000,000 per occurrence.In addition,negligent acts by the State of California would give rise <br /> to a claim under the California Tort Claims Act. <br /> Two copies of a Property Access Authorization form are enclosed.Please sign and date one copy of the <br /> form and return it to the Environmental Health Division.The second copy of the form is for your records. <br /> If you have any questions please contact me at(209)468-0332 <br /> Karen Furst,M.D.,M.P.H. <br /> Health Officeer <br /> Robert McClellon,Lead Senior R.E.H.S. <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Enclosures: <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
