The site investigation will include sampling the buried <br />waste material to further characterize the chemical and physical properties of the waste. The <br />investigation/sampling is warranted to identify potential hazards to public health and safety and <br />the environment, which may have resulted from previous solid waste disposal operations. This <br />investigation/sampling is being conducted pursuant to Public Resources Code (PRC) sections <br />44100 and 48020-48028, Solid Waste Disposal and Co -disposal Site Cleanup Program.
