Based on our records EHD has not received the results for chemical monitoring that the <br />California Safe Water Drinking Act (SDWA) requires of this water system. To prevent this water system from <br />becoming out of compliance with the SDWA, contact your California Certified Lab and make arrangements <br />to have water samples collected from the wellhead(s) before the end of December 005. If the system <br />has been sampled, then forward a copy of the result(s) to EHD. If by January 10, 2006, EHD has not <br />received the result(s) then FCGCWS will be in violation of the SDWA and further enforcement may be <br />required. Please be aware that you will be billed at a rate of $93 per hour for any further enforcement activity <br />required. <br />Specifically, EHD has not received the following chemical monitoring results: <br />❑ SECONDARY (AESTHETICS): General Mineral and General Physical are due once every 3 years <br />(California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22, Section 64449 (c)). <br />❑ INORGANIC CHEMICALS: Required once every three years (CCR, Title 22, Section 64432 (b)(1)). This <br />Department currently waives asbestos and cyanide. <br />NITRATES: Required annually (CCR, Title 22, Section 64432 (a)). <br />❑ NITRITES: Required once every three years (CCR, Title 22, Section 64432 (a)). <br />VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (VOCs): Required once every 6 years (CCR, Title 22, Section <br />❑ 64445.1. ) <br />❑ SYNTHETIC ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (SOCs): Required once every three years (CCR, Title 22, Section <br />64445.1).
