Management Provisions
Treated wastewater from the WWTP will be discharged at a subsurface dispersal system located
on the golf course. The dispersal pipe will be covered with a minimum of one foot of native soil.
Treated wastewater applied to the subsurface will migrate downward through a trench filled with
3/8" drain rock and absorb into the native soil through the trench walls.
Because treated wastewater discharged at the subsurface dispersal system will be separated from
the public by at least one foot of native soil, the public will not come in contact with the applied
wastewater.
In addition to the management provisions listed above, a 100 -foot setback between surface water
features at the golf course and the subsurface dispersal areas will be maintained.
An area at the RV Park golf course has been set aside to be used for the replacement of the
subsurface dispersal areas if necessary. The location of the reserve area is shown in Figure 2.
Building or other modifications that would impede the construction of a subsurface dispersal
area will be prohibited in the reserve area.
RESPONSIBLE PERSON
This information is provided in Form 200, as presented in Appendix A.
MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM
To monitor performance of the WWTP and subsurface dispersal areas, it is proposed that the
following monitoring and reporting schedule be implemented.
Influent Monitoring
Samples will be collected from the influent of the WWTP. Samples will be collected at the same
frequency and at approximately the same time as effluent samples and will be representative of
the influent at the headworks prior to treatment. Influent monitoring will include, at a minimum,
the elements shown in Table 9.
Effluent Monitoring
Samples will be collected from the effluent of the WWTP. Effluent samples shall be collected
downstream from the last connection prior to discharge to the buried storage tanks. Effluent
monitoring will include, at a minimum, the elements shown in Table 10.
Subsurface Dispersal Area Monitoring
Monitoring of the treated wastewater applied to the subsurface dispersal areas will be performed.
Recycled water will be monitored to ascertain loading rates at the subsurface dispersal areas to
ensure the protection of surface and groundwater. Evidence of erosion, field or soil saturation.,
French Camp —Report of Waste Discharge 8 SAB027102
July 2008 n:lsab027102\ducuments\rwd\frenchcamprwdjuly rev final.doc
