'JUN -15-2001 10:20 AM FRENr• CAMP RV PARK 12092343008 <br />I <br />P-06 <br />Special Cleaning- Instructions for Posi-Flo® Filter Element <br />AWARNINGJ <br />Hazardous chemical. <br />Will burn skin. <br />Can explode. <br />Wear rubber gloves <br />and safety 9198898 <br />when washing grids, <br />Follow <br />manufacturer's <br />instructions. <br />Follow cleaning Instructions in your Posl•Flo Filter owner's manual. <br />If further cleaning Is required, follow instructions below. <br />For stubborn deposits, proceed as follows: <br />1, Follow Regular Cleaning Procedure on other side of sheet. <br />NOTICE: Cleaning the element at a self-service car wash is often <br />convenient and effective, especially in areas where water service <br />line pr6sure is low, <br />2. If deposits remain, soak element at least one hour with one of the <br />following solutions: <br />A, Commercial filter cleaner (see chart; follow manufacturer's <br />instructions for use), or <br />B. One cup automatic dishwasher detergent to five gallons of <br />water, or <br />C. One cup Tri Sodium Phosphate (TSP) to five gallons of water. <br />3. Wash off with water to remove oils, dirt and remaining cleaner <br />solution. <br />NOTICE: If filter has been subjected to algae, calcium carbonate <br />(residue from calcium hypochlorite) binders, or iron, PROCEED <br />TO STEP FOUR. <br />A Danger of burns or explosion. <br />Do not add water to acid. <br />Do not allow acid to touch your skin. <br />Do not use acid without eye protection. <br />4. To remove mineral buildup from filter cloth, soak cartridge two to <br />four hours In a solution of one part muriatic acid to ten parts <br />water. some foaming may occur. <br />Follow manufacturer's instructions. <br />5.
