9. USE PERMIPPLICATION NO. U-73-9 of JWRIS E. CARR <br /> (c/o Forward, Inc. ) for resource recovery cenBW and a Class II-1 <br /> Disposal Site, on the west side of Austin Road, from 2 to 22 miles <br /> south of Arch Road, Southeast Stockton in an EA-10 Zone. <br /> PLANNING CONSIDERATIONS : The Planning Department introduced a <br /> written report into the record. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS: San Joaquin Farm Federation Bureau:., expressed <br /> concern over premature development of agricultural soils in San <br /> Joaquin County; concern over possible well contamination, intrusion <br /> into an agricultural area. A phone call had been received from <br /> the State Reclamation Board, stating no objection; a letter from <br /> the Foothill Sanitary Landfill,_ Co. , in opposition, stating that <br /> the proposal will violate a County contract; this site is limited <br /> inysize; the land is subject to flooding; and this is not the best <br /> location for a disposal site.
