At 9:54 a.m. August 14, 1990, Melissa Aronson (838-1869) phoned and said that she is a neighbor of Mr. Lane's and complained that the fire on Mr. Lane's property was still burning and generating an irritating smoke. Melissa Aronson also claimed that Mr. Lane burns garbage on his property on a regular basis and offered to testify as a witness if needed. On August 14, 1990, 1 prepared a declaration in support of a preliminary injunction and submitted it to the San Joaquin District Attorney's Office.
