GENERAL WORK RULES <br />❑ iDo not eat, drink, or smoke in the work area. <br />❑ Wash hands and face before eating, drinking, or smoking. <br />❑ ,Minimize skin contact with soil. <br />❑ Dispose of PPE by placing it in a designated container. <br />❑ Wear chemical -protective gloves when handling contaminated materials. <br />❑ Wear long-sleeved cotton shirts at all times with the sleeves fully extended. <br />❑ Wear eye protection when engaged in mechanical work. <br />o k. <br />❑ If any electrically powered equipment is used on-site, be sure it is explosion -proof <br />And utilize a ground -fault interrupter approved for outdoor use. <br />❑ Nash contaminated equipment before removing it from the site or place contaminated <br />equipment in plastic bags for later decontamination. <br />❑ Clear Heart Drilling, Inc. will carry cell phones for communication. <br />STANDARD PROCEDURE FOR REPORTING <br />EMERGENCIES <br />When calling for assistance in an emergency situation, provide the following: <br />• Name of person making call. <br />• Telephone number and location of person making call. <br />• I ame(s) of person(s) exposed or injured and their location. <br />• Nature of emergency and type of exposure, when appropriate. <br />• actions already taken. <br />• Never be the first to hang up when calling for emergency assistance. Wait for the <br />dispatch operator to finish all questions. <br />15 <br />
