KITS. 1051 Communicable Diseases X (a) Upon identification,all inmates with suspected communicable diseases are segregated until a medical evaluation can be completed. (b) At the time of intake into the facility,an inquiry X is made to determine if the inmate has or has had any communicable diseases,or has observable systems of communicable diseases,including but not limited to tuberculosis,hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases,AIDS,or other special medical problems identified by the health authority. (c) The inmate's response is noted on the booking X form and/or screening device. 1052 Mentally Disordered Inmates X (a) There are policies and procedures that provide for the identification and evaluation of all mentally disordered inmates,with segregation,if necessary to protect the safety of the inmate of others. (b) A physician's opinion is secured within 24 hours X of identification or at the next daily sick call, whichever is earliest.
